Hello, Pinnacle editors, i have an issue which bothers me a lot. I've created some split-screen templates which i want to move along the line and adjust to the audio file (manually) but when i move one of them, all the other ones seem to come closer to where the playhead is and cluster around it - sometimes along different tracks. And also, when they happen to overlap while i'm working, one of them cuts another in two. It's very annoying. I can't continue working on my project. The other elements just jump on top of one another and i lose the order which i need to follow, along the text file i have prepared. Is there a setting which i can change so that no elements move automatically, without me moving them? And also, that they don't cut each other in half? It was better when i had VideoStudio, there was no mutual cutting. There are some yellow triangles appearing above the timeline at the end of some of the items. Can they be stopped? Do they affect the automatic movement of items across various AV tracks?
I'll appreciate any ideas. Thank you.

What is your timeline editing mode ?
There are some yellow triangles appearing above the timeline at the end of some of the items. Can they be stopped? Do they affect the automatic movement of items across various AV tracks? These yellow triangles are there to warn you that there are some gaps in your timeline => some parts of your timeline have no images at all. These yellow signs are completely harmless.

Thank you very much, this solved my problem. I chose the last option from the dropdown menu. It best suits my needs. as i need to make precise adjustments along with the audio file (for a slideshow). This was a really helpful reply.

It's weird. This mode allows user to replace placeholders with some assets from the library.

Saby, your picture from the previous answer made me look these modes up and there was an article about it, yet there were no pictures of the different modes they are explaining, and so i had to try them on my own. I don't know what each of them is used for, since they are not labeled, yet at least they don't jump on top of one another and across different tracks. So your answer helped ant even if i may find some other mode more suitable in the future, yet i know that the program is customizable enough to suit my needs. Thank you.
