So the old forum is now closed. Despite that, I had an e-mail from Pinnacle asking me to purchase PS 26. My video editing has almost halted and normally I would not consider it. However, my most recent version is PS 20 and I am wondering just what worthwhile improvements have been made during the intervening period. In view of there possibly being no more versions it might be worth getting up to date to match current OS and hardware. I say that because Windows 11 is not proving particularly friendly with older software.
Any views anyone?

PS 26 is definitely worth it. It is more stable and works much faster in the background. For me it's Pinnacle's best video editing program to date and I've been using it since (Studio 7).

C'est certain qu'il n'y a pas photo entre ps20 et ps26 Par contre je te déconseille de prendre la 26.2 il vaut mieux rester avec la 26.1
It is certain that there is no photo between PS20 and PS26 On the other hand, I advise you not to take the 26.2, it is better to stay with the 26.1

I don't know any solution to roll back to PS26.1 afterward.

Purchase it on Corel's website, test it for 30 days and if you're not happy get a refund thanks to their 30 days money back guarantee.

DOMMAGE

You can buy PS26 Ultimate, but don't expect any bug fixes. You are buying it "as is". I certainly would not buy an EOL (end of life) software anywhere near its retail price.

Going back to 26.1 works - but only via a system backup created at the time. In my experience, resetting via a restore point doesn't work. So always diligently make system backups.

Many users are facing green frames or grey circular arrows at export issues.
