Thank you very much for placing this site. Just wondering if more foreign language forums will be added later on such as spanish. Also if there happens to be spams in here to whom do we report it to.

Thank you very much for placing this site. Just wondering if more foreign language forums will be added later on such as spanish. Also if there happens to be spams in here to whom do we report it to. The foreign language forums are only likely to be introduced if there is a great demand ie significant numbers of members speaking that language, and also someone that speaks the language becoming a Moderator. If you have any concerns about postings etc, you can contact me via a private message, or a MOderator.

Bob, I'd like to suggest to simplify the forums, at least temporarily until there's more traffic, by having only 2 boards (or even only 1), one for announcements and one general board that includes only one forum per language, such as the one for the German speaking members. The present structure seems too complex for current needs and may even discourage (new) members to post.

The present structure seems too complex for current needs and may even discourage (new) members to post. The construction of this forum mirrors that of the old forum but is less complicated than that was simply because of the condensed one-board approach to the request for the German speaking forum. Therefore, if members manage to navigate and post on the original forum, there should be no impediment to them being able to do so on here. I am reluctant to make constant changes to the layout as that in itself can be confusing. I am sure things will settle down once the forum has been around a while and members get used to it.

My opinion about it. Bob comes from the English-speaking world and has now set up a Pinnacle replacement forum. Logically in his native language, which could also be or is the Pinnacle manufacturer's language. The fact that the old forum structure is reflected in the replacement forum is natural and a familiar environment for the normal user. If the same thing were set up for multi-languages, we would soon have a pharmacy cabinet. Bob has set up a subforum for the German-speaking world and I think we can live with that. I'm also in favor of the English forum retaining the structure of the old Pinnaclesys forum and all other languages making do with a subforum. We'll be fine with it I think it will bloom and grow. Hopefully a new "studio" will also grow at Pinnacle Devs.

Thank you Bob.
I have not been on the old forum for a while. I saw it was gone. Glad I was able to find the new home.
With the layout, it feels like being home but with freshly painted walls.

Welcome to the forum jswaite. As a matter of interest, how did you manage to locate this replacement forum? It would be good to know that from anyone opening a new account as it might give some idea concerning the numbers we can hope for in the future.

Sorry for the delayed reply. When I saw the forum on Pinnacle's site was closed I went to Google and searched for Pinnacle discussion forums. The top of the list was a Facebook group. In there I saw a post to this forum. Boy and I glad too. I am not a Facebook user and never will be (except the occasional public link that got me to this forum).
