On my old desktop, I have PS21 through to PS26 installed. With each new installation, Bonus material form previous Ultimate versions would copy into the new version. I am currently installing all my editing software onto my new laptop and I plan to keep the machine relatively lean in terms of software installed. So with Pinnacle Studio I plan to keep only PS26 on this machine although I would also like to have the Bonus filters etc. that came with PS23. Is there any way of copying the PS23 bonus material into PS26 without actually installing PS23 first?

Copy/paste the Content folder from your desktop/to your laptop, discard duplicates when asked to and you should be good to go.

If by "Bonus Filters" from PS23 you mean the NewBlue Video Essentials plugins, PS23 Ultimate will need to be present, otherwise those NewBlue effects will be watermarked. Otherwise just copy the Content folder tree + contents onto the laptop as Saby suggested

If Candive meant plugins, it's not the Content folder that he needs to copy/paste but the C:\Program Files\Pinnacle\Studio 23\plugins\RTFx to C:\Program Files\Pinnacle\Studio 26\plugins\RTFx and same with C:\Program Files\Pinnacle\Studio 26\plugins\RTFXV2.
Same for LUTs : C:\Program Files\Pinnacle\Studio 26\plugins\LUT
BTW, you're right, for NBFX it would result to watermarks.

Yes, I was referring to the NewBlue effects. I suspected that I would need to install PS23 if I wanted its Bonus pack but hoped there may be a workaround. I forgot about the watermarks but it makes sense for NewBlue to protect its products. Thanks again.

Install PS23 including its Bonus Content then PS26.
NBFX should transfer from PS23 to PS26 with no watermarks in PS26.
Uninstall PS23.

Thanks sabyThat is now done! Just a note to those who may need to install an older version of Pinnacle on Windows 11. I received an error message when the installation of PS23 completed. Its related to Roxio setup.exe and below is the link to "Learn more" and is related to a driver not being able to be loaded. It may have something to do with a Roxio capture device but I'm not sure. Regardless, other than that, PS23 completed its installation. Learn More

Regardless, other than that, PS23 completed its installation. I'm aware of two bits of software that probably still contain a bit of their Roxio heritage:
In the case of the device driver; the error is harmless as Studio 26 installation also installs the same set of drivers for Dazzle devices - and has the updated ones In the case of MyDVD - it would mean that the version for Studio 23 isn't available. IMO only of any significance if you had a Blu-Ray unlock for PS23 but not for PS26. Otherwise, the older version being "missing" isn't an issue; just use PS26 and the version of MyDVD that came with it
