Hello all I wish to use time remapping in PS26 but it doesn't appear in Editor. Is this bonus content or something that I haven't installed. See screenshot attached.

I don't have PS26, only up to PS25 but in PS25 it is a case of right clicking on the clip and then selecting time remapping from the menu.

Nope. Can't do that either. Works fine in PS23

the right click no longer works for remapping with S26, you have to go through the effect menu

I don't know what's happening with your PS26 but for sure this tool is not part of any additional content that you could have missed to install.

I could try running the repair option instead of install, but does this ever actually do anything? I've tried it a few times but it never seems to do anything except tell you that it found a problem. It doesn't tell you what the problem is and it doesn't fix it, because if you run it a second time you get the same result. I've even tried it after a clean install, but that was on PS23. I have no confidence that it would be any better in 26. It looks like a re-install job.

Complete reset of PS26 might solve it.

Are you sure that you're not trying to apply time remapping to a still image ?
Your screenshot is exactly what I get when I select a still image on the timeline.

Precisely the same as in PS25.

That's an interesting one, Saby because it's a nested group of still images. In fact the whole movie is made out of still images. I've just tried loading an .mp4 movie that was filmed in a camcorder and Time Remapping is there. So you are absolutely right. Thank you.

It is obvious that on a still image changing the speed is of no use.

It is obvious that on a still image changing the speed is of no use. This tool only works if you want to use it on a video. The display duration of photos can be changed using the “handler”. But right-clicking on the timeline also works.
